Humanity’s in pieces. But it’s nothing new. It’s been like this for a long time.
Is this our natural state, or are we making an awful long run at trying to pick up the pieces?
If separation is our natural state then the most powerful among us would certainly be those who have tried to pick up the pieces, for us. This would put Gandhi in the same camp as Hitler.
"Power” would be reserved for those that aimed to unify, through love or force. The powerful would bring humanity together with words and blueprints, or some sort of glue.
But if humanity has been running around the same track failing to find the off-ramp to a stronger, more sustainable existence, then the most powerful among us are those that aim to see what has not yet been seen.
What I mean to say is that the good or bad faith of powerful individuals throughout history have predicated their power on their ability to bring us together like family or like cattle.
But what if the only true power we have is our ability to see through reality?
In this late hour of humanity, everything unreal is crumbling. For us to put our faith in the unreal means to crumble along with it. We must see through it and identify the real.
Then we might work together to pick up humanity’s pieces, with the knowledge available to those with a sense of totality.
We will not find answers in physical formations, governmental plans, social contracts, legal enforcements, societal decrees. These have been tried and still we are in pieces.
Many who have tried were not whole. Those that were, became aware that it was not for them to piece together others, but to inspire others to piece together themselves. To inspire us.
And now is the time. Don’t we see that the universe is pulling all the stops right now so that we might have a chance?
The illusion of separation, that we are beings that desire to fulfill our self-interest, is at the crux of our short-sightedness. What if we really are one (being), absolutely? Our only true desire would be to serve the All. Any action made out of self-interest would be a misunderstanding of how we truly wish to act, for the benefit of every single part.
I read yesterday about Pando, a 14,000 year old, one-tree aspen forest in Utah that has been deemed the largest living organism on earth (by weight). It has an expanding root system that pushes shoots from underground to grow “clones” from the earth.
Pando is translated from Latin, meaning “I spread.” Scientists have found that Pando is no longer spreading due to human behavior and has been split into three different organisms by the desperate acts of humans trying to fix their mistakes.
All over, death is tipping the scale of life, and humanity’s response to death is revealing the same misunderstandings we had about life.
Doesn’t the news of Pando show us that life can no longer “spread” in the illusion of separation that has kept us blind from a sense of oneness? Don’t we see that in separation we cannot choose to serve the All but only create more fragmentation?
I believe we are at a point of no return. From here, humanity will not set itself up for another lap around the same track.
It is important for each of us to pick up our own pieces, now. Only the total, the complete, may rise to the divine occasion of what’s to come.
We are not waiting for a king or a savior. They are within us now, and become permanently available when every piece has been picked up and put in its rightful place.
We all must pick up the pieces.

ESO-EXCERPT
A sample of secret knowledge, selected by me and available to all.
The following is an excerpt from the fourth chapter, Contemplating Creation, within the pages of The Hermetica: The Lost Wisdom of The Pharaohs, a simple and clear translation to some of Hermes Trismegistus’ teachings, written by Timothy Freke & Peter Gandy.
"Ask Atum [The All][God] to flash a ray of his illumination into your awareness giving you the power to grasp in thought his sublime Being. For the invisible may only be seen with thoughts— which are themselves invisible. If you can't see thoughts, do you expect to see Atum? Look with your mind, however, and he will appear to you, manifesting himself without reservation throughout the whole universe, so that you may see his image with your eyes and hold it with your two hands. Do you think Atum is invisible? Don't say that! Nothing is more visible than Atum. He created all things so that through them you could see him. This is Atum's Great Heart— That he manifests himself in everything. Everything can be known, including the insubstantial. Just as Mind is known through thoughts, so Atum is known through his creation.
larkonthelam UPDATE!
My trials, tribulations and transparencies—choosing to live outside of societal norms like getting jobs, getting into co-dependent relationships, paying taxes, and just about everything else that people tell me I need to do.
CURRENT SITUATION *no major changes from last week
I’m currently living with two friends in Northern California. We’ve established an empowering community filled with support and challenge. We currently share resources and are seeking a new living situation that cuts our need to pay rent in exchange for a mutually beneficial partnership, like co-stewarding land (plenty of agriculture experience) or on-land event planning. One craiglist ad and we’ve received over ten replies for possible partnerships.
I’m sick of job applications, leases and contracts. I’ve chosen to not be employed, but rather work off-the-books here and there. This has freed up my time and tested my faith that “everything will be alright,” as long as I make soulful decisions in my life. One of the friends that I live with has picked up more work (by “chance”) since I’ve left a full-time job.
SPIRITUAL PROCESS
Physical/Spiritual Connection
Fell ill, sore throat for three days. Processed through it. “My spiritual voice” needed my throat to align with a higher vibration.
Drained of energy while sick. Trouble even moving to get water. Brought up contemplations about “work” and “identity.” I’m not seeing my totality, that I’m valuable with or without the use of, or the identification with, my body.
Reflected deep gratitude for the powerful collaboration of my parts of self. They really have come so far. From civil war to lovingly collaborating.

SUBSTACK LOVE
My reading recommendation for a piece written by another writer on substack
Lisa Olivera is a true channeler of the human spirit. The way she writes is so raw and so clean it somehow tugs at my heart while gently massaging my brain. This piece, What is lost can return, basically sums up why getLOST exists. Check it out, and if you still aren’t convinced, here’s a little taste:
“I’ve grown my reverence for the lost places. When it feels like nothing is changing, like there is no growth happening, like we’re stuck in an open wound with nothing seeming to fill it, I’ve come to trust just how much is happening underneath the surface that just isn’t showing itself yet. I’ve come to believe in the necessity of the lost places as part of the whole, instead of thinking they’re getting in the way of the whole.”

Before you go, check out and subscribe to my free fantasy series, SPIRON! Introduction letter to the series is below. Prelude and Chapter 0 is out now.
Humanity has been on the same track for a long time. We have been expecting a better outcome for ourselves while trying the same thing over and again even though we have experienced worsening results as time progresses. Collectively our actions are the definition of insanity.
But in order to change the output of experience reality gives us, we must first change our input of action.
Though most people can "see" what is right in front of them, having "vision" is the ability to see beyond what the sensory organs show us.
Many people have not yet learned their power of vision because they still operate from a deep seated belief that the systems of power which govern their reality are outside of them.
In order to see through reality we must each build experience to form our individualized understanding of the true power which exists in all of us. The true self which we all come together to form.
We are all traveling on different roads that ultimately lead to the same place. This is something that unifies us, but when we lock ourselves in the mindset of separation, this is impossible to understand.
The understanding in your words is powerful: "we are not waiting for a king or a savior. They are within us now, and become permanently available when every piece has been picked up and put in its rightful place."
The reassembly which you describe here is only completed by the individuals who accept "the hero's call to action". Those who choose to learn from all experience to see how it shows them their power. And as you've written about in the past--the tougher the experience, the more there is to learn about self.
It takes vision to discern meaning from challenging experience. Those who can only see get caught up in all the action without discerning its deeper meaning.
We live in a "choose your own adventure" type game where Free Will is preserved by Divine Observers.
One of the rules of this game is that each individual node on the network of Consciousness must use their Free Will to align with The Great Will. Each individual must choose to rise in order for the collective to come together as one.
And reality will continue to become more and more surreal in order to provoke independent action from each actor to naturally form the alignment of The All of us.
Think about what it would be like to perceive The All from the omnipotent level of pure Consciousness. From that vantage point, what we are going through right now would be a fun test of self.
We would probably be thinking, "let's see what I would do if this happened..."
"Oh, not weird enough yet? Well, how about THAT!"
When you exist outside of time as pure energetic potential, it's probably at least a little boring. So an intense matter-based strategy game seems like a good way to spend eternity :)
And you are right, my dear friend. We each have the power to put our pieces back together.
Some folks are still learning to believe in their ability to reassemble themselves. The thought you provoke here gives "permission to explore" to those who are working to develop vision beyond what they can see.
Keep holding your light up high, hermano. I can see your golden rays from over here.
P.S. - Dear Substack, please give us the ability to italicize words in comments. :)
What a wonderful response. Danke, hueMAN! Some of those golden rays you’re seeing coming from over here are reflections of some of the golden ray ideas you’ve been putting out over there!
What you’re saying about the world becoming more surreal the further we progress, I’ve found to be true. Not only is my body trying to adjust by breaking down and building up to allow more energy to flow, but I catch myself in psychedelic states without even meditating these days.
We’ve probably read a lot of the same materials, but where there isn’t overlap in our learning, our experiences have come to round us out. I can feel that we’ve walked unique roads, and yet we share some big truths. Here’s to even more growth to make us like sages placed on the outside of villages because we can see but we’re basically nuts!
Yea, substack, NEED italics option!
